This photo collection tries to register pictorial record of Dara quarter which is passing the deathbed. The quarter is becoming less populated every year and it's about 30 years since the construction of the last house.

Visualizing subjects in the photo is affected by their separation of each other.it means that old woman and men do not like to be seen together in public and confronting to camera is similar to being in public. women are always behind men and in a selected framework here. Men is the outdoor symbol of a family and woman is a part of the home. Dara is one of the ancient quarters of Kolour City in the southern Ardebil, Iran.
